11  The Committee on Insurance offered the following:

13         Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 4, lines 7 through 21,

15  remove:  all of said lines

17  and insert:

18         624.84  Review and stay of action.--Review under s.

19  120.57 of an order placing an insurer in administrative

20  supervision does not operate as an automatic stay of the

21  order. During the period of supervision, the insurer may

22  contest an action taken or proposed to be taken by the

23  supervisor, specifying the manner wherein the action

24  complained of would not result in improving the condition of

25  the insurer., Such and the request shall not stay the action

26  specified pending reconsideration of the action by the

27  department. If upon reconsideration the action of the

28  department is upheld, the stay shall be lifted. Denial of the

29  insurer's request upon reconsideration entitles the insurer to

30  request a proceeding under ss. 120.569 and 120.57. Such

31  proceeding shall not operate as a stay of the action.
