  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to racing dates; expressing the

  3         legislative intent to enact legislation to

  4         provide for racing dates that are fair and

  5         reasonable; providing an effective date.

  7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  8

  9         Section 1.  The Legislature intends to enact

10  legislation to provide dates for racing events which are fair

11  and reasonable to the wagering public and the affected

12  regulated interests.

13         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2002.
