  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to licensing of pari-mutuel

  3         personnel and facilities; expressing the

  4         legislative intent to enact legislation

  5         relating to pari-mutuel personnel and

  6         facilities; providing an effective date.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  9

10         Section 1.  The Legislature intends to enact

11  legislation to ensure that any system for the regulation of

12  pari-mutuel personnel and facilities is fair and reasonable.

13         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2002.
