  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to real estate brokers;

  3         amending s. 475.01, F.S.; clarifying that

  4         chapter 475, F.S., applies to real estate

  5         brokers acting as trustees or fiduciaries;

  6         providing an effective date.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  9

10         Section 1.  Subsection (4) is added to section 475.01,

11  Florida Statutes, to read:

12         475.01  Definitions.--

13         (4)  A broker acting as a trustee or in a fiduciary

14  capacity is subject to the provisions of this chapter.

15         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

16  law.

19                       LEGISLATIVE SUMMARY

      Clarifies that chapter 475, relating to real estate
21    brokers, salespersons, schools, and appraisers, is
      applicable to real estate brokers acting as trustees or
22    fiduciaries.
