  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to pari-mutuel wagering;

  3         amending s. 550.615, F.S.; eliminating a

  4         limitation on which tracks or frontons may

  5         participate in intertrack wagering; providing

  6         an effective date.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  9

10         Section 1.  Subsection (2) of section 550.615, Florida

11  Statutes, is amended to read:

12         550.615  Intertrack wagering.--

13         (2)  Any track or fronton licensed under this chapter

14  which in the preceding year conducted a full schedule of live

15  racing is qualified to, at any time, receive broadcasts of any

16  class of pari-mutuel race or game and accept wagers on such

17  races or games conducted by any class of permitholders

18  licensed under this chapter.

19         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2002.
