  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to public-construction

  3         projects; expressing the legislative intent to

  4         revise laws relating to payment and retainage

  5         with respect to public-construction contracts;

  6         providing an effective date.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  9

10         Section 1.  The Legislature intends to revise laws

11  relating to payment and retainage with respect to

12  public-construction contracts.

13         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

14  law.
