13         Amendment (with title amendment)

17         Section 1.  Paragraph (a) of subsection (4) of section

18  316.1955, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:

19         316.1955  Enforcement of parking requirements for

20  persons who have disabilities.--

21         (4)(a)  A vehicle that is transporting a person who has

22  a disability and that has been granted a permit under s.

23  320.0848(1)(e) s. 320.0848(1)(a) may be parked for a maximum

24  of 30 minutes in any parking space reserved for persons who

25  have disabilities.

26         Section 2.  Paragraph (c) of subsection (2) of section

27  320.0848, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:

28         320.0848  Persons who have disabilities; issuance of

29  disabled parking permits; temporary permits; permits for

30  certain providers of transportation services to persons who

31  have disabilities.--

  1         (2)  DISABLED PARKING PERMIT; PERSONS WITH LONG-TERM

  2  MOBILITY PROBLEMS.--

  3         (c)  The administrative processing fee for each initial

  4  4-year disabled parking permit or renewal permit shall be

  5  $1.50, and all proceeds of that fee shall be retained by the

  6  tax collector of the county in which the fee was collected.

  7  (c)1.  Except as provided in subparagraph 2., the fee for a

  8  disabled parking permit shall be:

  9         a.  Fifteen dollars for each initial 4-year permit or

10  renewal permit, of which the State Transportation Trust Fund

11  shall receive $13.50 and the tax collector of the county in

12  which the fee was collected shall receive $1.50.

13         b.  One dollar for each additional or additional

14  renewal 4-year permit, of which the State Transportation Trust

15  Fund shall receive all funds collected.

16         Section 3.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2002.
