                                          HB 1529, First Engrossed



  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to road designations;

  3         designating a portion of roadway in Miami-Dade

  4         County as "Dr. Luis Conte-Aguero Way";

  5         designating a portion of U.S. 1 the "South

  6         Miami All-American Parkway;" designating a

  7         portion of State Road 87 in Santa Rosa County

  8         the "Bennett C. Russell Florida/Alabama

  9         Parkway;" directing the Department of

10         Transportation to erect suitable markers;

11         providing an effective date.

13  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

14

15         Section 1.  Dr. Luis Conte-Aguero Way designation;

16  markers.--

17         (1)  That portion of S.W. 24th Street (Coral Way),

18  between 25th Avenue and 28th Avenue, in Miami-Dade County is

19  hereby designated as "Dr. Luis Conte-Aguero Way."

20         (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to

21  erect suitable markers designating "Dr. Luis Conte-Aguero Way"

22  as described in subsection (1).

23         Section 2.  South Miami All-American Parkway

24  designation; markers.--  

25         (1)  U.S. 1 from 57th Avenue to SW 80th Street in

26  Miami-Dade County is hereby designated as "South Miami

27  All-American Parkway."

28         (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to

29  erect suitable markers designating "South Miami All-American

30  Parkway" as described in subsection (1).

  1         Section 3.  Bennett C. Russell Florida/Alabama Parkway

  2  designation; markers.--

  3         (1)  State Road 87 from the Florida/Alabama border to

  4  U.S. Highway 98 in Santa Rosa County is hereby designated as

  5  the "Bennett C. Russell Florida/Alabama Parkway."

  6         (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to

  7  erect suitable markers designating the "Bennett C. Russell

  8  Florida/Alabama Parkway" as described in subsection (1).

  9         Section 4.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

10  law.
