  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to public lodging and public

  3         food service establishments; amending s.

  4         509.032, F.S.; providing for the recovery of

  5         costs incurred for reinspection of a public

  6         lodging or public food service establishment to

  7         verify the correction of violations found

  8         during a prior inspection; providing an

  9         effective date.

11  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

13         Section 1.  Paragraph (h) is added to subsection (2) of

14  section 509.032, Florida Statutes, to read:

15         509.032  Duties.--

16         (2)  INSPECTION OF PREMISES.--

17         (h)  The division shall charge $150 to recover the

18  costs incurred for each reinspection of a public lodging or

19  public food service establishment which is conducted to verify

20  the correction of violations found during the initial or

21  subsequent inspection of the establishment.

22         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2002.
