11  The Committee on Comprehensive Planning, Local and Military

12  Affairs recommended the following amendment:

14         Senate Amendment 

15         On page 1, lines 21-29, delete those lines

16

17  and insert:

18         Services. If the county is not participating in such a

19  program, funds collected must be used to fund local law

20  enforcement automation and must be distributed to the

21  municipality or special improvement district in which the

22  violation occurred or to the county if the violation occurred

23  within the unincorporated area of the county.  If a

24  municipality within the county maintains a radio communication

25  program independent of the county, funds collected from

26  violations that occurred within the territorial jurisdiction

27  of that municipality must be used to fund local law

28  enforcement automation and must be distributed to that

29  municipality.
