  2         An act relating to public records; providing

  3         that it is the intent of the Legislature to

  4         enact legislation to address the exemptions

  5         from public-records and public-meetings

  6         requirements as part of the legislative review

  7         of ss. 240.213, 240.237, 240.241, 240.253,

  8         240.299, 240.2996, 240.323, 240.331, 240.3315,

  9         240.334, 240.337, 240.512, 240.551, 240.554,

10         240.711, F.S.; providing an effective date.

12  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

14         Section 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to

15  enact legislation to address the exemptions from

16  public-records and public-meetings requirements as part of the

17  legislative review of sections 240.213, 240.237, 240.241,

18  240.253, 240.299, 240.2996, 240.323, 240.331, 240.3315,

19  240.334, 240.337, 240.512, 240.551, 240.554, and 240.711,

20  Florida Statutes, mandated by chapter 2000-321, Laws of

21  Florida.

22         Section 2.  Except as otherwise provided herein, this

23  act shall take effect January 7, 2003.

      governing education.
