11  The Committee on Health Regulation offered the following:

13         Amendment 

14         On page 5, line 15, after the period

15

16  insert:  If a physician assistant or advanced registered nurse

17  practitioner volunteers during the declared public health

18  emergency, the county health department medical director, if

19  appropriate, shall serve as the supervising physician for the

20  physician assistant and be able to delegate acts of medical

21  diagnosis and treatment to the advanced registered nurse

22  practitioner.
