11  The Council for Ready Infrastructure offered the following:

13         Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 2, between lines 14 & 15, of the bill

15

16  insert:

17         Section 4.  (1)  The Sawgrass Expressway (SR 869)

18  located in Broward County is designated the Jerry Thompson

19  Expressway in honor of the late Broward County Commissioner

20  who served from September 1974 through November 1996.

21         (2)  The Department of Transportation shall erect

22  suitable markers bearing the designation made by this act.

29  after the semicolon insert:

30         designating the Sawgrass Expressway in Broward
