14 On page 4, lines 19-22, delete those lines

16 and insert:
17 Section 3. Effective January 1, 2003, section 35.06,
18 Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
19 35.06 Organization of district courts of appeal.--A
20 district court of appeal shall be organized in each of the
21 five appellate districts to be named District Court of Appeal,
22 .... District. The number of judges of each district court of
23 appeal shall be as follows:
24 (1) In the first district there shall be 15 judges.
25 (2) In the second district there shall be 15 14
26 judges.
27 (3) In the third district there shall be 11 judges.
28 (4) In the fourth district there shall be 13 12
29 judges.
30 (5) In the fifth district there shall be 10 judges.
31 Section 4. The judges filling new district court of

1 appeal offices created by this act shall be appointed by the
2 Governor and shall take office for a term beginning on January

4 Section 5. Except as otherwise expressly provided in
5 this act, this act shall take effect July 1, 2002.
