2 A resolution recognizing January 20-26, 2002,
3 as Florida Jaycee Recognition Week in the State
4 of Florida.

6 WHEREAS, the Florida Junior Chamber of Commerce has
7 played a vital role in the development of young leaders in our
8 state for more than seventy-eight years, and
9 WHEREAS, the Florida Junior Chamber of Commerce serves
10 the underprivileged citizens of our state through numerous
11 projects, and
12 WHEREAS, the Florida Junior Chamber of Commerce
13 supports and enhances the professional development and
14 business advancement of the citizens of Florida, and
15 WHEREAS, the Florida Junior Chamber of Commerce
16 promotes and fosters the individual growth and development of
17 the young people of our communities, and
18 WHEREAS, the Florida Junior Chamber of Commerce teaches
19 and impresses upon its members a spirit of genuine Americanism
20 and civic service, and
21 WHEREAS, the Florida Junior Chamber of Commerce
22 provides important opportunities for personal development and
23 achievement and significant avenues for participation in the
24 progress of the community, the state, and the nation, and
25 WHEREAS, the Florida Junior Chamber of Commerce joins
26 with Jaycees everywhere in fostering friendship and
27 understanding among the young people of all nations, NOW,
