14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

15         On page 12, between lines 15 and 16,

17  insert:

18         Section 9.  Section 106.09, Florida Statutes, is

19  amended to read:

20         106.09  Cash contributions and contribution by

21  cashier's checks.--

22         (1)  A No person may not shall make or accept a cash

23  contribution or contribution by means of a cashier's check in

24  excess of $100.

25         (2)(a)  Any person who makes or accepts a contribution

26  in excess of $100 in violation of this section commits is

27  guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree, punishable as

28  provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.

29         (b)  Any person who knowingly and willfully makes or

30  accepts a contribution in excess of $5,000 in violation of

31  this section commits a felony of the third degree, punishable
