  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to economic development of the

  3         sports industry; expressing the intent of the

  4         Legislature to enact legislation to limit

  5         public financial support for facilities used

  6         for professional sports franchises; providing

  7         an effective date.

  9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11         Section 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to

12  enact policies limiting public financial support for the

13  construction and renovation of facilities for the use of

14  professional sports franchises.

15         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

16  law.
