  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to credit reports; requiring

  3         certain entities to provide copies of certain

  4         credit reports or documents under certain

  5         circumstances; providing an effective date.

  7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  8

  9         Section 1.  Any entity doing business in this state

10  which, before providing a loan, product, or service to any

11  person, uses or requires a credit report on such person, or a

12  computerized credit reporting document relating to such

13  person, shall provide to such person a copy of the credit

14  report or computerized credit reporting document if the entity

15  denies or refuses to provide such loan, product, or service

16  within 10 business days after such denial or refusal.

17         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

18  law.

      Requires entities using or requiring a credit report or

      or service transactions to provide to the person
24    requesting the loan, product, or service a copy of the
      credit report or computerized credit reporting document
25    if the entity denies or refuses to provide the loan,
      product, or service within 10 business days after the
26    denial or refusal.
