14         On page 5, between lines 19 and 20 of the bill

17         Section 3.  Paragraph (c) is added to subsection (1) of

18  section 627.0623, Florida Statutes, to read:

19         627.0623  Restrictions on expenditures and

20  solicitations of insurers and affiliates.--

21         (1)  As used in this section:

22         (c)  With respect to a receivership, "insurer" includes

23  the insurer in receivership, and "officer" includes any

24  officer of the insurer in receivership and any receiver,

25  deputy receiver, or any professional retained by the receiver

26  or deputy receiver to manage or provide legal services to the

27  receivership.
