Immediately following Specific Appropriation 218, DELETE:
Funds in Specific Appropriations 218, 220, 222, 224, 225, 227, 229, 230,
231, 234, 235, 237, 243, and 245 include increases of $79,360,455 from
the General Revenue Fund, $18,145,875 from the Grants and Donations
Trust Fund, and $112,614,593 from the Medical Care Trust Fund to
restore the optional Medically Needy Program for adults, effective July
1, 2002. The Medically Needy Program shall be modified to increase the
income eligibility level from $180 to $450 per person per month and to
require individuals to pay their share of cost prior to becoming
eligible for Medicaid payments.

Line item amendments are accepted as part of the amendatory process. However, due to the necessity of using computerized systems this may entail a different placement within a budget entity or the renumbering of the specific appropriation items. |
