13         Substitute Amendment for Amendment (611205) (with title

14  amendment) 

15         On page 24, between lines 25 and 26, of the bill

17  insert:

18         Section 9.  Paragraph (e) of subsection (1) of section

19  641.185, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:

20         641.185  Health maintenance organization subscriber

21  protections.--

22         (1)  With respect to the provisions of this part and

23  part III, the principles expressed in the following statements

24  shall serve as standards to be followed by the Department of

25  Insurance and the Agency for Health Care Administration in

26  exercising their powers and duties, in exercising

27  administrative discretion, in administrative interpretations

28  of the law, in enforcing its provisions, and in adopting

29  rules:

30         (e)  A health maintenance organization subscriber

31  should receive timely, concise information regarding the
