14         On page 644, between lines 22 & 23, of the bill

16  insert:

17         (c)  The district school board shall adopt rules

18  governing emergency drills.  The rules must require each

19  school to conduct and document at least 10 fire drills per

20  school year and at least 2 tornado drills per school year. In

21  lieu of up to 5 fire drills per school year, the rules shall

22  permit a school to conduct student school security drills.
