15 remove: all of said lines

17 and insert:
18 (3) As required pursuant to subsection (4), each
19 district school board shall conduct written analyses of the
20 cost and of the level and quality of services associated with
21 each of the following noninstructional services it has not
22 already contracted: student transportation, food services,
23 and facilities operations and maintenance; and shall issue
24 request for proposals or solicitation of bids for the
25 provision of these noninstructional services that it has not
26 already contracted. The required analyses and the request for
27 proposals or solicitation of bids shall be in a form
28 consistent with that provided to the Department of Education
29 by the Florida School Boards Association and Florida TaxWatch.
30 (4) Each district school board shall conduct a written
31 analysis of the cost and of the level and quality of service

1 and shall issue request for proposals or solicitation of bids
2 for:
3 (a) any one of the noninstructional services listed in
4 this section during the 2002-2003 school year, unless it has
5 already contracted the service;
6 (b) one of the other noninstructional services listed
7 in this section during the 2003-2004 school year, unless it
8 has already contracted the service; and
9 (c) any remaining noninstructional services listed in
10 this section during the 2004-2005 school year, unless it has
11 already contracted the service.
12 After the 2004-2005 school year, any school district
13 that has not contracted for the provision of a
14 noninstructional service listed in this section shall
15 periodically conduct an analysis of such service according to
16 the requirements of this section.
