13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 117, line 1,

15

16  insert:

17         Section 32.  Subsection (5) of section 601.155, Florida

18  Statutes, is amended to read:

19         601.155  Equalizing excise tax; credit; exemption.--

20         (5)  Products made in whole or in part from citrus

21  fruit on which an equivalent tax is levied pursuant to s.

22  601.15, F.S., are exempt from the tax imposed by this section.

23  All products subject to the taxable privileges under this

24  section, which products are produced in whole or in part from

25  citrus fruit grown within the United States, are exempt from

26  the tax imposed by this section to the extent that the

27  products are derived from oranges or grapefruit grown within

28  the United States. In the case of products made in part from

29  citrus fruit exempt from the tax imposed by this section grown

30  within the United States, all be the burden of the persons

31  liable for the excise tax to show the Department of Citrus,
