Districts shall use at least twenty-five percent (25%) of their

development. Districts shall provide professional development in the
integration of advanced technologies, including emerging technologies,
into curricula and instruction and in using those technologies to create
new learning environments. This restriction shall not apply if a
district can satisfactorily demonstrate to the Department of Education
that it already provides such professional development, based on a
review of relevant research, to all teachers in core academic subjects.
Line item amendments are accepted as part of the amendatory process. However, due to the necessity of using computerized systems this may entail a different placement
within a budget entity or the renumbering of the specific appropriation items. |
