On Page: 050             This amendment provides $15,000,000 in General Revenue
                         for the Pharmaceutical Expense Assistance Program and
Spec App:  203           adds authorization for the Agency to obtain a federal
                         Health Insurance Flexibility and Accountability Waiver
                         should a new federal drug benefit program not be
                         approved.

INSERT the following new paragraph of proviso after existing proviso 
following Specific Appropriation 203:

In the event that a new federal drug benefit program is not approved,
the Agency is authorized to seek a federal Health Insurance Flexibility
and Accountability (HIFA) Waiver.

Line item amendments are accepted as part of the amendatory process.  However, due to the necessity of using computerized systems this may entail a different placement
within a budget entity or the renumbering of the specific appropriation items.
