13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 1, line 12,

16  insert:

17         Section 1.  Subsection (8) of section 501.203, Florida

18  Statutes, is amended to read:

19         501.203  Definitions.--As used in this chapter, unless

20  the context otherwise requires, the term:

21         (8)  "Trade or commerce" means the advertising,

22  soliciting, providing, offering, or distributing, whether by

23  sale, rental, or otherwise, of any good or service, or any

24  property, whether tangible or intangible, or any other

25  article, commodity, or thing of value, wherever situated, or

26  any banking activity. "Trade or commerce" shall include the

27  conduct of any trade or commerce, however denominated,

28  including any nonprofit or not-for-profit person or activity.
