17 Section 81. Subsection (6) of section 468.301, Florida
18 Statutes, is amended to read:
19 468.301 Definitions.--As used in this part, the term:
20 (6) "Direct supervision" means supervision and control
21 by a licensed practitioner who assumes legal liability for the
22 services rendered by the basic X-ray machine operator, or
23 basic X-ray machine operator-podiatric medicine, or persons
24 exempted under subsection 468.302(6), Florida Statutes, which
25 supervision requires the physical presence of the licensed
26 practitioner for consultation and direction of the actions of
27 the basic X-ray machine operator, or basic X-ray machine
28 operator-podiatric medicine, or persons exempted under
29 subsection 468.302(6), Florida Statutes.
