15         On page 97, between lines 23 and 24,

18         Section 80.  Subsection (6) of section 468.301, Florida

19  Statutes, is amended to read:

20         468.301  Definitions.--As used in this part, the term:

21         (6)  "Direct supervision" means supervision and control

22  by a licensed practitioner who assumes legal liability for the

23  services rendered by the basic X-ray machine operator, or

24  basic X-ray machine operator-podiatric medicine, or persons

25  exempted under s. 468.302(6), which supervision requires the

26  physical presence of the licensed practitioner for

27  consultation and direction of the actions of the basic X-ray

28  machine operator, or basic X-ray machine operator-podiatric

29  medicine, or persons exempted under s. 468.302(6).
