14         On page 2, lines 22-31,

15  remove:  all of said lines

17  and insert:  and directed to appropriate from funds of the

18  city not otherwise appropriated and to draw a warrant payable

19  to Rosemary Falkinburg in two equal installments for the total

20  amount of $500,000, which amount includes statutory attorney's

21  fees and costs, for injuries and damages she sustained as a

22  result of the negligence of a city employee. The initial

23  installment of $250,000 shall be paid within 30 days after the

24  effective date of this act, and the second installment of

25  $250,000 shall be paid on the 1-year anniversary of the

26  initial payment.
