  2         An act relating to commodity procurement;

  3         amending ss. 287.063 and 287.064, F.S.;

  4         including certain equipment, accounting

  5         software, and services under deferred payment

  6         commodity contracts which replace state

  7         accounting and cash management systems;

  8         providing an effective date.

10  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11  

12         Section 1.  Subsection (4) is added to section 287.063,

13  Florida Statutes, to read:

14         287.063  Deferred-payment commodity contracts; preaudit

15  review.--

16         (4)  For purposes of this section, deferred payment

17  commodity contracts for replacing the state accounting and

18  cash management systems may include equipment, accounting

19  software, and implementation and project management services.

20         Section 2.  Subsection (9) is added to section 287.064,

21  Florida Statutes, to read:

22         287.064  Consolidated financing of deferred-payment

23  purchases.--

24         (9)  For purposes of this section, deferred payment

25  commodity contracts for replacing the state accounting and

26  cash management systems may include equipment, accounting

27  software, and implementation and project management services.

28         Section 3.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

29  law.
