11  Senator Klein moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment 

14         On page 3, line 30, after the period

15

16  insert:  The department shall, within 45 days from receipt of

17  a complete notice and all required or requested additional

18  information, approve, disapprove, or approve with conditions

19  the plan submitted by the insurer. Failure to timely take

20  action with respect to the notice shall be deemed an approval

21  of the surrender of the certificate of authority.
