13         Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 6, line 1 of the bill

16  insert:

17         Section 6.  Enterprise zone designation for Bay

18  County.--Bay County may apply to the Office of Tourism, Trade,

19  and Economic Development for designation of one enterprise

20  zone encompassing an area within the county. The application

21  must be submitted by December 31, 2002, and must comply with

22  the requirements of s. 290.0055.  Notwithstanding the

23  provisions of s. 290.0065 limiting the total number of

24  enterprise zones designated and the number of enterprise zones

25  within a population category, the Office of Tourism, Trade,

26  and Economic Development may designate one enterprise zone

27  under this section.  The Office of Tourism, Trade, and

28  Economic Development shall establish the initial effective

29  date of the enterprise zone designated pursuant to this

30  section.
