11  Senator Silver moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment 

14         On page 4, lines 18-24, delete those lines

15

16  and insert:  center's policies and procedures. Each Medicaid

17  admission must be approved as appropriate for placement in the

18  facility by the Children's Medical Services Multidisciplinary

19  Assessment Team of the Department of Health, in conjunction

20  with the Agency for Health Care Administration.

21         (3)  Each child admitted to the center shall be

22  admitted upon prescription of the medical director of the

23  center, licensed pursuant to chapter 458 or chapter 459, and

24  the child shall remain under the care of the medical director

25  and the advanced registered nurse practitioner for the

26  duration of his or her stay in the center.
