14         On page 2, line 21, after the word program

16  insert:  , or loan repayments of $8,000 a year for up to 4

17  years on behalf of selected graduates of an accredited or

18  approved nursing program for bilingual nurses who commit to

19  work at a hospital, identified by the Department, as serving

20  an underserved Hispanic community.  For the purposes of

21  directing bilingual nurses to underserved Hispanic

22  communities, the payment shall be either a loan repayment or

23  stipend.
