11  Senator Saunders moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 8 between lines 12 and 13,

15

16  insert:

17         Section 6.  Paragraph (h) of subsection (1) of section

18  464.018, Florida Statutes, is amended, present paragraph (n)

19  of that subsection is redesignated as paragraph (o), and a new

20  paragraph (n) is added to that subsection, to read:

21         464.018  Disciplinary actions.--

22         (1)  The following acts constitute grounds for denial

23  of a license or disciplinary action, as specified in s.

24  456.072(2):

25         (h)  Unprofessional conduct, as defined by board rule

26  which shall include, but not be limited to, any departure

27  from, or the failure to conform to, the minimal standards of

28  acceptable and prevailing nursing practice, in which case

29  actual injury need not be established.

30         (n)  Failing to meet minimal standards of acceptable

31  and prevailing nursing practice, including engaging in acts
