18         (6)  The state, state agencies, local governments, and

19  local government agencies shall not be held liable for any

20  injury caused by the failure to install the uniform rip

21  current warning signs provided for in this section; however,

22  this is not intended to limit in any way the responsibility

23  imposed on such entities by other provisions of law with

24  regard to the posting of rip current warning signs on public

25  beaches.
