14         On page 14, line 20, through

15            page 15, line 14, delete those lines

17  and insert:

18         101.5611  Instructions to electors.--

19         (1)  For the instruction of voters on election day, the

20  supervisor of elections shall provide at each polling place

21  one instruction model illustrating the manner of voting with

22  the system. Each such instruction model shall show the

23  arrangement of party rows, office columns, and questions to be

24  voted on. Such model shall be located at a place which voters

25  must pass to reach the official voting booth.

26         (2)  Before entering the voting booth each voter shall

27  be offered instruction in voting by use of the instruction

28  model, and the voter shall be given ample opportunity to

29  operate the model by himself or herself. The supervisor shall

30  also provide instruction by precinct officials for voters who

31  request assistance, and shall provide instruction on the

  1  proper method of casting a ballot for the specific voting

  2  system used in that jurisdiction. In instructing voters, no

  3  precinct official may show partiality to any political party

  4  or candidate.

  5         (3)  The supervisor of elections shall have posted at

  6  each polling place a notice that reads:  "A person who commits

  7  or attempts to commit any fraud in connection with voting,

  8  votes a fraudulent ballot, or votes more than once in an

  9  election can be convicted of a felony of the third degree and

10  fined up to $5,000 and/or imprisoned for up to 5 years."
