15 On page 1, between lines 26 and 27,

17 insert:
18 (4) Notwithstanding the provisions of Subsection (2),
19 a student may participate in organized athletics, if the
20 student, or if the student is under 18 years of age, the
21 student's parent or guardian, objects in writing to the
22 student undergoing a complete physical assessment because such
23 assessment is contrary to his or her religious tenets or
24 practices, provided that no person or entity shall be held
25 liable for any injury or other damages suffered by such
26 student as a result of waiver of the physical assessment and
27 EKG, except if that injury or damage results from gross
28 negligence, recklessness, or intentional misconduct.
