11  Senator Campbell moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment 

14         On page 9, line 17, after the period

15

16  insert:  The information transmitted may only be used for the

17  specific purposes specified in this act. The information

18  transmitted may be maintained by any department receiving it

19  for up to 12 months before purging it from its records.

20  Notwithstanding the foregoing, any department receiving such

21  information may maintain it longer than 12 months if the

22  information is pertinent to an ongoing investigation arising

23  under this act.
