14 STATEMENT OF SUBSTANTIAL CHANGES CONTAINED IN
COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR
15 SB 64
16
17 This committee substitute provides authority for the payment
of the balance of the settlement amount ($1,305,000), and
18 reflects the ratios for which the claimant sought court
approval (40 percent to Mr. Exanor and 30 percent on behalf of
19 each of the children). It also corrects errors in the claim
bill relating to the facts (e.g., suggesting that Mr. Exanor
20 is the father of both minor children) and conclusions of this
case. The committee substitute specifies a deadline for the
21 purchase of annuities benefiting the children, and specifies
that funds on behalf of the children be paid into the
22 guardianship accounts and be expended under supervision of the
circuit court.
