  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the Department of Highway

  3         Safety and Motor Vehicles; requiring the

  4         department to maintain images of all documents

  5         relating to motor vehicle titles that are

  6         registered with the department; providing an

  7         effective date.

  9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

10

11         Section 1.  The Department of Highway Safety and Motor

12  Vehicles shall image and maintain copies of all documents

13  relating to motor vehicle titles that are registered with the

14  department.

15         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2002.
