13         Senate Amendment 

14         On page 13, lines 9 through 11, delete those lines

15

16  and insert:  as provided in s. 39.502. The child has the right

17  to attend court proceedings, but it is not mandatory for the

18  child to do so unless the court finds that the appearance in

19  court would be in the best interest of the child. The presence

20  of the child may be excused by order of the court when

21  presence would not be in the child's best interest.
