  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to retirement; declaring a need

  3         for eligibility changes to the Deferred

  4         Retirement Option Program created in chapter

  5         121, F.S.; providing an effective date.

  7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  8

  9         Section 1.  The Legislature declares that there is a

10  need to make eligibility changes in enrollment in the Deferred

11  Retirement Option Program created in chapter 121, Florida

12  Statutes.

13         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2002.
