1 A bill to be entitled
2 An act relating to trust funds; re-creating the
3 County Article V Trust Fund within the state
4 courts system without modification; carrying
5 forward current balances and continuing current
6 sources and uses thereof; repealing s. 2, ch.
7 97-64, Laws of Florida, relating to termination
8 and review of the trust fund, to conform;
9 providing an effective date.

11 WHEREAS, the Legislature wishes to extend the life of
12 the County Article V Trust Fund within the state courts
13 system, which is otherwise scheduled to be terminated pursuant
14 to law, and
15 WHEREAS, the Legislature has reviewed the trust fund
16 before its scheduled termination date and has found that it
17 continues to meet an important public purpose, and
18 WHEREAS, the Legislature has found that existing public
19 policy concerning the trust fund sets adequate parameters for
20 its use, NOW, THEREFORE,

22 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
23
24 Section 1. (1) The County Article V Trust Fund within
25 the state courts system, FLAIR number 22-2-055, which is to be
26 terminated on June 30, 2002, pursuant to s. 2, ch. 97-64, Laws
27 of Florida, in accordance with Section 19(f), Article III of
28 the State Constitution, is re-created.
29 (2) All current balances of the trust fund are carried
30 forward, and all current sources and uses of the trust fund
31 are continued.

1 Section 2. Section 2 of chapter 97-64, Laws of
2 Florida, is repealed.
3 Section 3. This act shall take effect June 30, 2002.
