14 On page 2, between lines 25 and 26, of the bill

16 insert a new Section 2:
17 Section 2. Subsection (4) of section 45.031, Florida
18 Statutes, is amended to read:
19 45.031 Judicial sales procedure.--In any sale of real
20 or personal property under an order or judgment, the following
21 procedure may be followed as an alternative to any other sale
22 procedure if so ordered by the court:
23 (4) OBJECTION TO THE SALE; CERTIFICATE OF TITLE.--The
24 clerk of court shall refuse to accept an objection to sale
25 unless the objection is verified and is filed by a party to
26 the suit or by a person who submitted a bid at the sale. If
27 an objection to sale is filed, the clerk shall report the same
28 to the court and the court shall advance the cause on the
29 calendar. If no verified objection objections to the sale is
30 are filed within 10 days after filing the certificate of sale,
31 the clerk shall file a certificate of title; if a verified

1 objection is so filed, the clerk shall issue and file the
