  1                         House Resolution

  2         A resolution honoring Mrs. Nancy Seiler, Irish

  3         Mother of the Year.

  4  

  5         WHEREAS, on St. Patrick's Day, everyone is Irish, and

  6  everyone who is Irish enjoys the revelry, the antics of the

  7  Wee Ones, and the traditions, folklore, and yarns brought over

  8  from Old Erin, and

  9         WHEREAS, the Emerald Society of Fort Lauderdale, Inc.,

10  a nonprofit corporation dedicated to the youth of Broward

11  County, is marking its 52nd anniversary on Sunday, March 17,

12  2002, and

13         WHEREAS, the Society is celebrating this momentous

14  occasion by hosting a Grand Gaelic Gala, an Irish breakfast to

15  be held at the Fort Lauderdale Marina Marriott at 9:30 on the

16  morning of St. Patrick's Day, and

17         WHEREAS, at this time, Irish hearts will beat with

18  immeasurable pride as Mrs. Nancy Seiler is recognized and

19  honored as the 2002 Irish Mother of the Year, NOW, THEREFORE,

20  

21  Be It Resolved by the House of Representatives of the State of

22  Florida:

23  

24         That the House of Representatives pauses in its

25  deliberations to join the good folk of the Emerald Society of

26  Fort Lauderdale, Inc., in paying tribute to and extending a

27  hearty Irish blessing to Mrs. Nancy Seiler, Fort Lauderdale's

28  2002 Irish Mother of the Year.

29         BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution

30  be presented to Mrs. Nancy Seiler as a tangible token of the

31  Irish sentiments expressed herein.
