  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to deferred-payment commodity

  3         contracts; amending ss. 287.063, 287.064, F.S.;

  4         permitting deferred-payment commodity contracts

  5         for replacing the state accounting and

  6         cash-management systems to include certain

  7         commodities and services; providing an

  8         effective date.

10  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

12         Section 1.  Subsection (4) is added to section 287.063,

13  Florida Statutes, to read:

14         287.063  Deferred-payment commodity contracts; preaudit

15  review.--

16         (4)  For the purposes of this section, deferred-payment

17  commodity contracts for replacing the state accounting and

18  cash-management systems may include equipment, accounting

19  software, and implementation and project-management services.

20         Section 2.  Subsection (9) is added to section 287.064,

21  Florida Statutes, to read:

22         287.064  Consolidated financing of deferred-payment

23  purchases.--

24         (9)  For the purposes of this section, deferred-payment

25  commodity contracts for replacing the state accounting and

26  cash-management systems may include equipment, accounting

27  software, and implementation and project-management services.

28         Section 3.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

29  law.
