  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to Jupiter Inlet District, Palm

  3         Beach County; amending chapter 2000-412, Laws

  4         of Florida, to increase the compensation of

  5         commissioners; providing an effective date.

  7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  8

  9         Section 1.  Subsection (f) of section 3 of section 3 of

10  chapter 2000-412, Laws of Florida, is amended to read:

11         Section 3.  Minimum charter requirements.--

12         (f)  The compensation of each commissioner shall be

13  $200 $120 per month or any portion of a month in which the

14  commissioner serves. The commissioners shall also be allowed

15  per diem, traveling expenses, mileage, subsistence, and other

16  expenses at the same rate as that allowed public officers,

17  employees, and authorized persons under section 112.061,

18  Florida Statutes, or successor legislation, as it may from

19  time to time be amended, or as otherwise provided by general

20  law.

21         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

22  law.
