13         Senate Amendment 
14         On page 1688, lines 8-14, delete those lines
15  
16  and insert:  
17         Section 944.  Paragraph (b) of subsection (2),
18  paragraph (c) of subsection (9) and subsections (10) and (11)
19  of section 287.055, Florida Statutes, are amended to read:
20         287.055  Acquisition of professional architectural,
21  engineering, landscape architectural, or surveying and mapping
22  services; definitions; procedures; contingent fees prohibited;
23  penalties.--
24         (2)  DEFINITIONS.--For purposes of this section:
25         (b)  "Agency" means the state, a state agency, a state
26  university, a municipality, a political subdivision, a school
27  district, or a school board, or a community college. The term
28  "agency" does not extend to a nongovernmental developer that
29  contributes public facilities to a political subdivision under
30  s. 380.06 or ss. 163.3220-163.3243.
